Client: BIG Massachusetts Tiny House Festival
Location: Beverly, MA
All across the country, people are turning to tiny houses in order to build more sustainable, affordable, and creative lives. Tiny houses of all kinds, speakers, related businesses, and artists came to celebrate the tiny house movement in this fully immersive festival at the North Shore Music Theatre. Always up for a challenge, when I was asked to paint a mural on a tiny house at the festival, I immediately said yes. Two days of painting live while thousands of attendees came to learn about and take tours of thetiny houses on display. The house I painted was the residence of the festival's creator, so the pressure was on. The homeowner was a fan of my line art and wanted something abstract. As an added bonus, I painted the name of the house, Aubergine, right near the front (and only) door.
